LTM is pleased to announce the CD reissue of the classic Crépuscule 1982 tour souvenir compilation "Some of the interesting things you'll see on a long distance flight"
All tracks on the 76 minute CD were recorded live on the Dialogue North-South tour in February 1982, an ambitious multi-media package which visited London, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels and several other major cities. Organised by Les Disques du Crépuscule, the tour CD features exclusive live recordings by several key participants, including The Durutti Column, Paul Haig with Rhythm of Life, Antena, The Names, Richard Jobson and emcee Wally Van Middendorp (of Minny Pops).
Long-deleted, the extended CD also features a deluxe booklet featuring many rare photographs, together with an on-the-spot report by journalist Johnny Waller, and liner notes by James Nice. A facsimile of the original tour programme is also included.
The CD is a must for collectors of Crépuscule and Factory Records artists, not least because it includes songs by The Durutti Column, Paul Haig and The Names which were never studio recorded, and do not appear elsewhere.
